Happy 10 month birthday BO!

Happy 10 month birthday to my sweet baby boy. I didn't think he was so sweet this morning when he woke up at 5:10 and refused to go back to sleep. And I didn't think he was so sweet when he wouldn't take a nap until 11 am. I have to say from 5am-11am things were a littel rocky around here. It is amazing what a one hour nap can do for a 10 month old and his mother. We spent from 12 on playing, eating and making a big ole mess in the living room. He just laid down for another siesta so he should be all recharged by the time Buddy gets home from work. We did watch the Razorback game today and I don't know how they pulled that one out, I think we will chalk that one up to luck.  I hope everyone is having a great Saturday.

Bo is a Pollywog

It is official....Bo is a Pollywog. Bo started in the Pollywog (crawler) room today at school. Since he is crawling and pulling up (on everything) he had to go to the next level at school. He has been going over there periodically for the last week so he could get used to it. It was bitter sweet to take him to a new place this morning. I had the same feelings as when we dropped him off the first day ever. I have to say I shed a tear or two when I got to the car. For Bo it was no big deal, he as been reunited with some of his former buddies and a few new ones. He has lot of new, cool toys to play with over there too! I know that this is harder on me than him just like everything else has been the past ten months.

I don't want to discuss the night time sleeping habits. But just know that things are getting better and I don't want to jinx it. If we ever get back on a constant I will be sure to let you all know.

All Bruised Up

When I picked up Bo from school yesterday his bruises were really shining. I wish I could figure out how to get him to stop head butting but I think that is a losing battle for now. It is kind of funny to see those bruises all over his forehead not funny haha you just have see him doing it. I wish he didn't have the bruises but he does and there is not much we can do about it.  Buddy got him to go back to sleep this morning at 5 am when he woke so I have not seen what they look like today. My clock is now stuck on 5 even if Bo is still sleeping. I will be glad when this passes and we can maybe just maybe make it until 6. Here are some more pictures from the weekend. I haven't had time to think much less get the pictures off my camera from the weekend. I have a few that Buddy sent me from his phone. I will get the rest tonight and post tomorrow. We had a good weekend chasing Bo around the house. Buddy went to deer camp so Bo and I had the house to ourselves for a short period. The weather was beautiful so we went to the park and over to a friends to play outside both days. Bo had his first experience in a swing and he seemed to like it. I am not sure he knew how to take being suspended in the air without someone holding him. He has a few battle scars on his forehead from head butting things. I tried to get a picture but was not happening this morning. I will try again tonight when we get home. Have a great day!

The Early Bird Catches the Worm

It is looking like 5:30 am is going to be the time to rise and shine around our house. We have tried different bed times and still he wakes up at 5:30 am. We get a good 2 hours of quality time in together before most peoples day even get started good. Yesterday he did take 3 naps so that made for a much better evening.

It's official, Bo is a crawler.

Bo finally decided he was going to see what this crawling thing was all about. Buddy and I looked up Sunday night and there he went across the living room floor. It is so fun to watch him go from place to place and pull up then sit down and do it all over again. He can't figure out why he can use the wall to stand up. This morning he tried over and over to stand up by the wall. I am sure it will not be long and he will not need anything to help him get up. Over the last couple of days most things in the living room have disappeared. There are a few pictures that I was able to leave because he cannot reach them yet. I know he is going to be able to get to things that we don't even notice but I guess we will just wait and see.

Bo has a new wake time for the past week...4:45-5:30 AM...yes I said it AM. I am not sure what is going on but I sure hope it gets back to at least 6 before long. This morning he was ready for a nap before we ever left home. It is nice to have some time in the morning but 2 hours is more than enough.

We woke up to a chilly 45 degrees this morning. It is nice and I welcome it with open arms. Weatherman says we are going to get our first freeze tomorrow night.

Hey there everyody. Thanks for reading my blog.

Busy Body

Bo is much to busy these days scooting, sitting and pulling to get much sleep during the day. Yesterday when I picked him up Ms. Jenny said "I have some bad news". I kind of new it had to do with sleep when she said those words to me. "Bo has only had one 30 minute nap today and that was at noon". I was like great, this is going to be a long night at home. Bo must have known what I said and wanted to prove me wrong. He played all night without one falling out of any kind. There was no scooting, sitting or pulling when he went to bed, he literally passed out when he hit the pillow. Tomorrow may be a different story but for today life is good. Bo got his flu shot yesterday and took it like a champ.

This is my "I just stood up by myself" face.

He made his furthest journey to date on his knees last night. Crawling, as I have mentioned before is just not his thing. When he does finally get up on his knees he immediatly tries to stand up (with nothing to assist him). So you can imagine what that leads to...thump on his head. He is figuring it all out and at a rate a little to fast for me and Buddy. I think we are going to have to just buckle up and hold on for the ride.
