Father's Day

We had a fun 2nd Father's Day with Bo. We spent the day visiting with our father's, grandfathers, and great-grandfathers. It is so much fun getting to see Bo grow up around so many special people. We are very blessed to have each and everyone of them in our lives.

Here are just a few random pictures from the past week:

First Hair Cut

Thanks to Brooke for cutting Bo's hair for the first time this week. I had put it off for a while and finally just decided to do it. I now understand why parents don't want to cut their children's hair. It was like from that moment he was not a baby anymore. I know he is glad that his rat tail is finally gone. Buddy and I thought he would just act like a wild man while she was cutting his hair. To our surprise he sat in the chair and never made a peep. Mary Ashtyn sat with him and entertained him for me. She is a good helper.

Professional Movers

I am not sure how many moves you have to make to be considered a pro, but in our books we have reached it. We are getting settled in the new house and our trying to make it home now. Last weekend we worked in the yard and got it all cleaned up. I wish I had a before and after but just take my word for it was terrible. We raked 80 bags of leaves in one day. I probably should have took Buddy up on getting someone to do it but at least it is done. Bo got to help Dub mow their yard last weekend while we worked in our yard. He rode until he passed out.

Bo and I planted some flowers  yesterday, well I planted flowers and he threw potting soil. He had fun and so did I so that is all that matters. He like riding around the yard in the wagon.

Throwing dirt...I mean potting plants.

Bo had another first this week...climbing. I was in the kitchen doing something and turned around to check on him and he was standing on top of the ottoman in the living room. So of course now he is trying to get his knee up on everything in sight.

Bo was under the weather a few days this week and now he is just in bad mood. He didn't sleep well last night so hopefully he can catch up tonight and be recharged for Father's Day. We are looking forward to a fun but of course busy day tomorrrow. We have a lot of places to be and not enough time to spend with everyone.

Boogie Shoes

We spent this past weekend in Mountain View with Dub and Nana. The weather was great which made for a great day to go to the folk center and do some shopping on the downtown square. Bo was a huge fan of all the bluegrass music. He has started doing a lot of dancing so this weekend was right up his alley.  He knows how to get the most attention when strutting his stuff. It was a great time by all. We are already looking forward to going back.

It is amazing what grandparents will do

Dub...you have room for a couple of these, don't you?
