Christmas Fun!

I guess Santa thought Bo was a good boy this year from the amount of stuff he accumlated this past weekend. We are still in the process of going through the stuff he had so we can replace with the new stuff. It was fun to watch his curiosity go wild over all the packages and people. I think he might have been a bit overwhelmed at times but it was a great time by all. We were on the go pretty much the entire 4 days we were home and we still didn't get to see everyone that we wanted to see. I knew that Christmas would be different this year but I really couldn't imagine it until it happened. It was such a joy to have this special little guy to spend it with this year. There is no doubt that he added something a little extra to everyone's holiday this year and for many more to come. He was hesitant about the all the wrapping paper, bows and tissue paper but he did manage to rip through a few on his own. I couldn't imagine what it was like through his eyes all the shiny paper and bows.

I want to say thank you to eveyone for all the gifts and holdiay cheer that we recieved from so many. I have to say that our first Christmas with Bo was one for the record books. I am already looking forward to next year.
Here are a ton of pictures, ENJOY!

Tis the Season

Christmas is quickly approaching and I am ready...I think! I have a one gift left to pick up and a few gifts to wrap and then let the fun begin.  I can't believe that this year is coming to an end but this last week or so is going to be a great way to end such a wonderful year. We have lots of celebrating going down the next week between Chrimstas and Bo's first birthday. He is going to be thinking you are supposed to open gifts every day after the whirlwind he is about to experience. We have celebrated so many firsts this  year and I know that this holiday is going to only add to the collection. This will be the first in our family to celebrate as a parent, grand-parent, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles. I know that adding Bo to the equation is going to bring a whole new dynamic and meaning to such a wonderful time of the year. We are so blessed to have such amazing friends and family to spend these special moments with.

We have been busy the past couple weeks doing stuff but I am not reallys sure what those are anymore. I know we have been shopping, wrapping, playing and singing a lot of Christmas carols. Bo got his top two middle teeth in the past week or so and that was not the most pleasant experience for any of us. Sleeping has not been on the top of his priority list either since Thanksgiving. We have not been able to get back on schedule since our trip home. We won't have to worry about him getting of his schedule this trip because he is not on one...at all. I have to say he did sleep uninterrupted last night for the first time in weeks which  was great for me and Buddy. I feel more rested today than I have in a long time.

Don't forget that "it is the most wonderful time of the year" and enjoy every second of it. I am looking forward to sharing our "first" Christmas experience with everyone next week. Happy Holidays!

We saw Rudolph

We had a big, exciting weekend celebrating Nana's birthday. We got to see a lot of lights, a reindeer, ponies and even a couple of camels. Bo was under the weather most of Saturday so he did a lot of resting. He didn't want to miss out on all the festivities so he purked up by the late afternoon. It is always fun to have company at the house. We did a little Christmas shopping while all the boys took a nap. I now remember why I bought everything online. I don't know how I could forget how busy it is during Christmas time. I have to say once we found a place to park it was not to bad in the mall. I think all the courteous and polite people were out on Saturday. But as usual the weekend came and went way to fast. Only a couple more weeks until  Christmas, Bo's birthday and a New Year. We are looking forward to so many firsts that are about to happen. Have a great week.
