8 months...no way!

I can't believe that today marks the 8 month of Bo's arrival into our lives. It has been an amazing experience so far (most of it) and I can't wait to see what the next 8 months brings. I am so thankful to have him in our lives and I don't know what we ever did before.  He is really trying to pull up and I just know he wants to crawl but not happening. We are fairly certain he is just going to skip the crawling and just hit the ground running. Bo and Buddy are holding down the fort this week while I am working away from home. We had a great weekend with some wonderful friends. We have had a break from the scorching temperatures so we have been able to enjoy sometime outside. We have a busy week waiting on the fair and the first Razorback game. Have great week!

Happy Birthday sweet baby Bo. We love you very much.

I didn't think it would ever get here

I was beginning to think that Friday was never going to get here. I am hoping we will get to go swimming tomorrow and enjoy some of this "cooler" weather. We are counting down the days for the first Razorback football game. Only one more week to go and we will be calling those hogs. Everyone have a great weekend and we will check back in next week.

I found a few pics on my camera from our trip home a few weeks ago.

First tooth

Monday...why do you come so fast? I can't believe the weekend is over already. We enjoyed it very much even though it seems like we blinked and it was gone. Thanks to my friend Jackie for keeping  Bo on Satruday evening so we could celebrate our anniversary. We had a nice dinner and then enjoyed some much needed  time with some great friends. Thanks to Melissa, Steve, Jim and Erin for celebrating such a special day with us. I also have to say thanks to Buddy for the best 6 years of my life. It is amazing how so many great things can happen in such a short period of time. When we got married I never thought we would leave  eastern Arkansas and I sure didn't think there would be a baby Bo. I am so thankful for such a wonderful family and life that we live. Our families have been so supportive of all our decisions and that makes life so much easier. Bo and Jackie must have played super hard because he slept until almost 7am. We didn't do much with our Sunday other than play a lot and we did go get a new toy at Wal-Mart.

Lazy Sunday

We were in the mall on Saturday and Buddy found Bo's first tooth. After 5 months of constant drooling we finally have the cause of it all. I think he is kind of proud of it. As a result of his first tooth he also got to have his first ceral puffs and yogurt melts. He figured out how to pick them up but could not land them in his mouth. I don't think it will take him long and he will be shoveling them in his mouth. We tried out some watermelon last night but he wasn't so sure what to do with it. He would suck on it for a minute and then spit it out.
What are these?

Hmmm...

Got it!

What a life

4% Friday

I read this earlier and it made me laugh.
I always give 100% at work: 13% Monday; 22% Tuesday; 26% Wednesday; 35% Thursday; 4% Friday.

We are looking forward to a great weekend as usual. Buddy and I are celebrating our 6th anniversary tomorrow. Who knows what we will get into but I am sure we will come up with something.

A great weekend with friends and family

Back to work and school today for me and Mr. Bo. We had a great weekend at home visiting with so many great friends and family. We celebrated my grandpa's birthday on Friday night and it was so fun to have all the kids together. I can only imagine what it is going to be like in a year or so when they are all running around It was hard to leave but nice to get back to Buddy and he was excited to see us too. Bo stayed two nights this trip with Dub and Nana and it was tough. I don't know how we ever think we are going to make it while we are on vacation.

I didn't get many pictures this weekend because my camera was dead and I thought I lost my charger. But, of course I found the charger in the only place I didn't look...the diaper bag.

This is all going way to fast

Today was Bo's first ride in his convertible carseat. I cannot believe he has already out grown his baby carrier. He looks like he is sitting in a little baby recliner in this new seat. He seemed very comfortable in it this morning but not so sure at the same time. I know that I sound like a broken record, but where has the time gone. I really feel like tomorrow he is going to be driving a car. It is hard to even think that he will be 8 months old in just 2 weeks. Just last night I was telling Buddy we will be planning his first birthday in just a couple of months.

We finally got some rain here last night and looks like it may rain all day. This morning on the radio I heard a guy say that NWA finally got a big drink of water. It will be nice not to have to turn those sprinklers on for a few days.

Bo and I will be traveling east tomorrow to come home for a few days, so please be thinking of us as we travel. This will be our first long drive since the end of May. I am crossing my fingers that he we will be cozy and comfy in his new seat and we will make it without any problems. Hope to see everyone in the next few days.

Happy Hump Day!

If every day were Saturday

I love the weekend, but I know that is the same with everyone. It is so great to be home with Bo and Buddy for two days with nothing to do. I have plenty to do but who wants to do house stuff when you can play with Bo. Mr. Bo is down for a nap right now so I am doing some laundry and watching something on E! about Snooki. I have never watched Jersey Shore but I might have to try to catch a couple of episodes. This girl is crazy and I can see why so many people are obsessed with these people.

We don't have much much going on this weekend other than trying to stay cool. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Catching up!

I hope everyone is staying as cool as possible in this extremely warm weather. Fayetteville set a record yesterday with a high of 106. If it keeps climing today it is looking like it may be another record temperature today.

My cousin Bentley and his wife Jennifer welcomed their first baby on Saturday. Brynlee Alexis and parents are home and doing great. Bo and I will be going down to meet his new cousin in just a couple of weeks. It is so exciting to have all these new babies in our family and we have at least one more on the way before the end of the year. It is going to be so much fun for them all to grow up together. I can only imagine the things they will be doing in the next few years.

Bo is babbling up a storm over the last couple of weeks. We can't make any sense of it all yet but it seems to be very important stuff to him.  He has finally in the last couple of days started letting us put him on his belly without completly going crazy on us. So I am sure with this new developement that crawling is not to far away. He is kind of able to pull/scoot towards things that catch his eye right now.

Finally!

Good Morning

Priceless

Still loves his "duck blind"

He is really enjoying all the new foods that he has experienced in the last month. So far he has not had anything that that he will not eat. Buddy made me promise that I would not make him eat peas, so he has not tried those yet.

Happy Hump Day!
