Turkey Day

We had a great Thanksgiving with our families and now we are gearing up for Christmas time. We had lots of Turkey and dressing thanks to all of Bo's help on Thanksgiving Eve with all the food. We made our rounds from Colt to Harrisburg and back to Wynne around dark. We somehow even mangaged to get the tree up that morning and decorated before bed time. I have always loved the holidays but this year is going to be so much fun. I can't wait to see Bo's face Christmas morning after Santa has brought all his toys. Enjoy this time with your friends and families. Welcome to the world William Earl Baker. We are so excited to have a new edition.

We are back....

Since my last post we have had a couple halloween parties, birthday party, several pretty fall days and lots of four wheeler rides. He has always loved to ride the four wheeler but now that he can tell us that is what he does all day long. He seemed to have a fun Halloween this year but was not sure about all the masks and scary costumes. There is one thing he did love about Halloween and that was and is the candy we have had at home. This morning he found a huge jack-o-lantern full and was carrying it around the house. This past weekend was Mary Ashtyn's 4th birthday day party. It was a perfect day for all the outside fun. I don't know how you can mess up any day that consists of cupcakes and ice cream.

We are all getting excited about the holidays that are just around the corner. We have been trying to talk to Bo about Santa Clause but he doesn't pay us much attention.

He is really starting to put his words into some very small sentences the past week or so. He likes to sing and he loves for you to sing to him. Singing to him is like magic, it seems we can get him to do just about anything if you turn it into a song. I promise you it is not very pretty but he doesn't seem to mind.

This past weekend we FINALLY got him to wear his boots that he has had for over a month. He has been terrified of them, would not even open the box. He would scream if the box even appeared in the house. But yesterday Buddy talked him into putting them on and of course he didn't want to take them off.
