a little bit behind

Me and Bo have been having so much I have not been on the blog lately. Today we bummed around with Ladon, Alicia and Mrs. Carol trying to recoop from our busy weekend visiting family back at home. We had a great weekend but glad to be back with Buddy and all our STUFF! Tomorrow we are going to daycare to visit BO's new school and to let his teachers know how he likes to do things! I am sure he will love it but I am not and it is getting tough as each day passes this week to even think about it. I hope I am able to leave him there when we go on Monday. Bo is changing and growing so fast these days. Mom weighed him this weekend and he was 15.6 lbs. already. By his 4 month check-up I bet he has doubled his weight.

Sunday Funday !!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. We have been taking it pretty easy this weekend. Not sure what we will get into today. Buddy got up and went fishing so I am just catching up on some stuff around the house while Bo is snoozing away still. I am hoping that the sun will come out today so we can enjoy the 80 degree weather. We are on the two week countdown until I have to return to work...boo! I am not sure where the last 3 months have gone but there is no sign of them coming back. We are going to enjoy every second that we have left. We were able to get a lot outside today and still enjoy and relax. Bo really likes to be outside and check things out. We have a few rabbits that are hanging around but he is not able to see them I don't think. We have put our bird feeders out and already have seen several finch. Hopefully we will have some hummers soon. Here are a few pictures from this week that I missed and some from this weekend.

This week is really getting away from us. We have not been up to much just hanging around the house. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the sun is going to pop out here in a little while. We did make it to the mall one day this week but that is just a given for me and Bo. I know Bo will be glad when he can go and do stuff with his dad and not me. Not sure what we are going to get into today but I am sure we will figure something out. Happy Hump Day!

Wonderful Weekend

Wrapping up another wonderful weekend and I hate to see it come to an end. It was so nice to have such a pretty Friday and Saturday weather wise. Buddy took us to Huntsville and Kingston to some antique stores yesterday. We did not buy a thing but it sure was nice to get out of for a few hours. Bo went to his first Sarah Hughes show last night and had a blast. He even got his picture with the rock star herself. Today we have been around the house cleaning and Buddy mowed and cleaned up the yard. Glad to get all that done because it has just started to storm. Bo is catching him a little nap in his daddy's lap and I am trying to catch up on some stuff around the house. We cooked some fish that my mom brought us a few weeks ago and it was wonderful. So I guess Bo had two first's this weekend...Sarah Hughes show and a fish fry. Not sure what we are going to get into this week but I am sure we will come up with something. Tough Weekend



Nothing New

Not to much happening around the Westmoreland house this week. We have just been hanging around home trying to dodge the cool weather. We finally are getting some sunshine today which is a nice change. We don't have any big plans today other than maybe going to the grocery store. Bo is chilling out in his swing trying to catch some shut eye right now. I don't know what in the world we would do without this swing, it is a lifesaver for sure. Last night we discussed how we were going to put Bo in his room to sleep and then we forgot to do it. I am not sure we forgot or if we just are not ready for him not to be in the room with us. Who knew it could be such a big deal for him to be just across the living room from us. We have been on the hunt for a rug for the living room but no luck yet. Why is it when you want to buy something you can't find one thing you would spend money on? We are going to keep looking and hopefully we will find something before to long. These hard floors are pretty tough on the knees these days! Bo and I hope everyone is having a great week.



Dub and Nana

Another great weekend has come and gone. Bo's Dub and Nana were here this weekend to spend sometime with all of us. Bo had a blast and enjoyed getting to hangout with his grandparents. Bo got to do one his most favorite things for now...shop! He made his first trip to Lowe's so I am sure he will not be wanting to hangout at the mall with me for much longer. He did get some super cute new clothes and it pumped about getting to show them off. Despite the cool and wet weather we were able to get a lot done around here during naps and things. It is so sad when everyone leaves and it is just the 3 of us again. We have had company two weekend in a row so I am sure we will not know what to do this next one. Bo has been much more alert and awake for longer periods of time the last few days. I am thinking maybe he has figured out the art of power  napping which is something I wish I could master. Off to finish this laundry before he awakes from his nap.

Naps

Bo is currently taking his second nap in his bed that is in his room! He seems to like it ok but I think that is because he was exhausted. I know we need to start putting him in there at night but it is so easy with him being in our room since he still gets up once or twice during the night. I don't think his shots bothered him to terribly bad other than maybe not sleeping as sound the last couple of nights. He is really growing and right on schedule the doctor said on Monday. He weighed in at a womping 12.12 pounds and almost 21 inches long. Bo's Dub and Nana will be heading up tomorrow to visit us (Bo) for the weekend! I can tell that Bo is really excited to see them when I talk to him about it! We always look forward to showing him off to whoever will come by to visit us. We were just home a couple of weeks ago but he has changed so much since then it seems. We hope everyone is having a great Thursday and have a great weekend if we miss a few days posting.

Spring Time

I can't believe it is already March 1 and you coult not ask for more perfect weather.  Bo and I have been out a little bit today to enjoy the sunshine. He/we survived his two month shots yesterday...thanks goodness! I think it was harder on us then Bo. At this moment I am trying to get him to take a nap in his "real" bed it will be the first if we succeed. So far it is not looking real promising that he is going to go to sleep but only time will tell. I will probably give in because that is just what I do. He is a swinger and that is about the only place that he has taken a nap in his few short months of napping. I will be sure to let you all know how it went later on tonight.
