Another Monday that is really all I can say. We had a great weekend with my mom and as usual sad to see her go. We really didn't do to much other than the norm just whatever Bo wants to do! I can't hardly believe that tomorrow is March 1st and the start of my last month at home with Bo. As I say in almost every post time is flying by way to fast. But for now I am just going to continue to enjoy being home with him and we will deal with April 4th when it gets here. Just in the last few days Bo has started cooing and I think I mentioned before he found his tongue. It is so funny to talk say things to him and here what he has to say in return. Seems like lately there is something new every day or two that is new to us. I hope everyone has a wonderful week.

Happy Thursday!!

Not to much happening around here today, Bo and I have just been hanging around watching it rain. We were lucky and the storm died down before it got to our neck of the woods. So all of you on the other side of the state reading this I think you are in the clear for rough weather. We have just been playing around the house today and unpacking from last weekend. I think I have finally got all the laundry done until someone takes their clothes off! Whoever knew you could spend the whole day doing laundry, makes me wonder how I ever got anything done and worked. Looking forward to a wonderful weekend with my little family and my mom. Buddy and I are hoping to get out for the first time all alone since Bo was born. I was thinking ealier that what would happen is we would just sit around and talk about Bo, feeding, sleeping and etc...I used to make fun of parents that all they did was talk to other adults about their children but I take it all back now because it happens. I had a great weekend with my favorite cousins but I think most of our conversations revolved around breastfeeding, crying and dirty diapers. My oh my how things change so quickly. Until tomorrow...

Way Behind

WOW...I didn't realize how long it has been since I have been online. We had busy week last week getting everything ready to head home for this past weekend. Me and Bo headed towards home on Friday for our first long distance trip all by ourselves. He slept the entire trip both ways which makes for an easy trip. Today he woke up right when I was getting off the interstate at the exit to our house. We had a great time visiting with lots of family and friends. We got meet the newest edition to the Lawson family Emma Kathleen Britzke who entered the world on January 25. She is such a sweetie pie and cute as she can be. We were busy trying to make sure we could see as many as we could. On Saturday we had people out to Granny's to see Emma and Bo. I don't think Bo is a big fan of large crowds he tends to be a bit fussy when surrounded by lots of people. I think we might have a little loner on our hands. We are looking forward to the weekend to see our MeMe (Sharon). I am going to get back on track this week with keeping the blog updated.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We hope everyone had a happy heart day. We have been super busy the last couple of days so not been able to post so we are going to play catch up. Bo got his first few Valentine's and gifts today and is just not sure if he would like to get a toy or save it for later. I am sure we will just put it in one of his piggy banks to save for another day. We were very happy to have the warm weather so we could get out of the house and do a few things. We have been enjoying the beautiful weather the last couple of days. We were able to get Bo out in his stroller and get his first real sight of the what is outside of the house. My body was not so sure what was happening after the last 7 weeks of taking it easy. Mr. Bo and I got a new car this weekend and we are very excited. We now have all kinds of room for all our stuff. Happy Valentine's Day to me and Bo! The reminants of snow are still lingering around in places but all in all it is clear here. Today's 60 degree temperatures were a nice change from -14 that we had last week.

 We had our first successful bath tonight without one scream or cry. We never thought the day would come that he would like to get a bath or at least act like he did. 

Snow Explosion 2011

Today is Bo's 6 week birthday and all I can say is WOW...where have the last 6 weeks gone? I was just looking back at pictures from the last few weeks and he has grown and changed so much. Everyone is right about how fast time goes by and to enjoy every second. Bo got to enjoy the day with his me, Buddy and a whole bunch of snow. Who would have thought that we would get 20 inches of snow in Arkansas? The forcast was calling for 4-8 inches as of this morning and now we have atleast 20 at our house and some areas around Siloam Springs have 24 inches. But on the bright side they are saying that we will have temperatures in close to 60 degrees this weekend...only in ARKANAS! I am enjoying the day with my two favorite guys and that makes any day great. I have been baking cookies, stew in slow cooker and enjoying the nice fire. Enjoy all the snow and be safe out there.

February 8

We finally got our new furniture today and it is wonderful. We passed our old furniture on to one of Buddy's co-workers that was very greatful to get it. Makes you appreciate things when our almost twenty year old furniture means so much to someone else. We went up to my office today to see what they were up too. I don't to much miss work but I do miss seeing the ladies that I work with everyday. We tried Bo out in the Bumbo seat tonight and he seemed to like it pretty good. His head is still a bit unsteady to stay in it very long but it will not be long and he will be holding it up like a champ.

Another weekend

It is almost the end of another great weekend. We have enjoyed Buddy driving us around the past two days so we could get out of the house. We found out that our new furniture for the living room will be here Tuesday and we are very excited about finally getting it. I will be sure to post a picture when we get it in the house. We don't have to much going on this week other than that and a trip to the doctor on Wednesday. We look forward to our small outings that we have sometimes during the week. Bo starting reaching for things today which was really cool to see him do. He is getting stronger everyday. We look forward to watching him grow and change everyday. He has changed our lifes so much it is amazing.

Still Snowing

We are still snowed in and it is starting to get really old. We have been stuck inside since Monday afternoon. Buddy took us down the street tonight to get some pizza and that helped break the monotony of the sitting in the living room. Now they are saying that we are going to get more snow tonight, Sunday and into next week. When in the world did Arkansas start getting so much snow and negative temperatures? I don't have the answer but I will be glad when it is all over. Bo and I have just been doing the same old things around the house. He is changing everyday it seems like now and getting more alert about things around him. We hope everyone has a great weekend. Maybe tomorrow I can get some pictures of the snow.

We got quite a bit of snow yesterday and it looks like it is going to be sticking around a while. Buddy got to spend part of the day at home with us yesterday. We are finally getting settled back in and unpacked from the weekend.
