Homecoming Week

I am a few weeks behind and a couple pictures short. Who would have ever thought I would be supporting the jackets as Bo likes to say. I just didn't feel right putting that yellow jacket t-shirt on him on that Friday. He had know idea that he was dressed any different than any other week. We missed the picture on pajama day and we didn't really know what to do on one day.

We are alive!!

I actually have an excuse for being so far behind this time. My computer has been out of commission for the past month or so. Our little maniac is growing like a week. He is talking up a storm, repeating everything and starting to say a few sentences that sound like chinese. Bo moved up to a new class at daycare. He was starting to look like a 4 year old next to those babies. I have to say that I can't really remember everything that has been going on since I last posted. I do know that we had our 7 year anniversary, a great Labor Day weekend and I FINALLY went back to work. Oh yea, we bought a house, had a visit from Melissa and Steve and went to our friends Jim and Erins Wedding outside of Knoxville. Excuse the rambling but it is all kind of coming back to me. We are very thankful for this cooler weather that we have had the last couple of days. Looking forward to the fall and being able to finally spend some much needed time outside.

Short on time

Not to much happening around here the last couple of weeks. We are doing as most everyone else just trying to stay cool, which means lots of time inside.

Catching up

I really didn't realize it had been so long since I posted anything. Bo had his 18 month check-up this week...18 months?? REWIND!! First time at the new pediatrician and she was really nice and full of lots of helpful information about the wild child. He weighed in at 29.15 lbs and was 35 inches tall. He is still in the 95th percentile of weight and height and of course 99.9999 in head size! That boy has a super brain up in that head of his. Lately it sure seems like he does because he is talking up a storm and doing all kinds of new stuff. Some stuff is good some stuff not so good.

We had a great 4th of July despite the high temperatures. It is always fun catching up with family on friends.

Bo had his first experience in the playland at McDonald's last week. He climbed right up in that beast and was off. One of the cashiers climbed up in it with him to show him the slide. I wish I had a picture of them coming down it. After she showed him he didn't need anymore help. Bo is FEARLESS and that equals a nervous mom most of the time.
