Watch out world here I come!

Another wonderful weekend has come and gone. We had a great visit from Dub and Nana this weekend. During this visit Bo learned how to pull up...on everything! If he can get to it he is going to find a way to get a little closer. Looks like life as we have known it is now over. We have had the lower the bed twice in two weeks. He is now as low as he can go and hopefully that will last until he gets a little bit taller. He is a proud little guy that he can get himself up on his feet. I was hoping he would forget he could pull up after he slept on it one night but that didn't happen. Headed today to get some baby proofing items from Target. I can see lots of moving around the house from now on out.

Bo had his 9 month check up on Friday. Here are his stats:

23 pounds (80th percentile)
29 inches tall (75th percentil)
19.5 inches head (off the charts)

He is a very healthy baby boy the pediatrician said. He is doing good and right on target where he should be. I am not so sure how he is nine months old already. I know I sound like a broken record but this has been the fastest nine months of my life.

Bo went to his first pumpkin patch on Saturday. He found  a few pumpkins just his size to take home. It was a beautiful fall weekend, perfect for getting out and about. We got a few decocrations out in the yard this weekend. Fall is my favorite time of the year just like it is for most I guess. We finally are getting some rain here today so hopefully that will help the trees have a little more color when they begin to change.

Just another phase...I hope

Bo seems to be going through a seperation anxiety phase. Up until the past week he would go to anybody at anytime. Since last Thursday he has not showed much interest of being with anyone other than me or Buddy. He seems ok as long as we are right there where he can see us but if we look like we are walking away from him...freak out! I hope this stage does not last very long. He has so much going on right now that we are not sure what is going on . Between teeth, cough and the separation stuff I can't tell what is bothering him at times. I am sure this will pass as quickly as it came or at least I am hoping it will.

Loves his toys

He might be hooked on the bip

Headed out to see his friends at school

We have been able to spend lots of time outside these last few weeks. Bo loves to be outside just like me and Buddy do. Yesterday, Bo got to take spin on the four wheeler that Dub gave to Buddy when we were home last. I can already tell they are going to have lots of fun with their new toy.

Catching Up!

We are back in action on the blog today. We have had a busy month but trying to get slowed back down and back into routine. We have been on vacation or at home for the last ten days. And I think I packed the ten days before we left. Bo got to spend a week with all the grandparents while Buddy and I were in Gulf Shores for a week. It was nice to  be able to do things for a few days without worrying about a schedule. Sleeping when you want to sleep is awesome. I don't think I stayed up past 9 pm the entire week we were gone. It was great to see Bo though for sure. I couldn't really tell if he was glad to see us or not. I don't know if I would be either if I had all the fun they did this past week.

He made some progression this past week on his mobility. He has been playing around with the idea of getting on his knees and trying to crawl. Last night when we got home he was sitting up and then all of a sudden he was on his belly then back to his bottom. I know one day all fear is going to be lost and he is going to be going full force. He has almost mastered the sippy cup too. He is just not sure about holding it up by himself but he is getting there. I think he might be getting another tooth, I thought I felt something sharp up there last night.

I hope he gets back into his routine at school today and enjoys time with his peeps. I think he was ready to see them all this morning. He is now the oldest in his class so it won't be long until he heads over to the next room with the crawlers.

Today was better than I was expecting with having to get up and do a million things. We were only a few minutes behind but we made it right on time. It was a chilly 41 degrees here this morning so we had to break out the fall clothes. I hope everyone has a great week.

Hello Fall...Great to see you!

What a great change of pace with the weather. We have been enjoying every second of it since it cooled off. We have had a great long weekend. We kicked the weekend off taking Bo to the fair to check things out. He always has fun just being out and about but the animals didn't really get him excited like we thought. He got his first taste of a funnel cake and absolutely love it.

Saturday we watched the Hogs take home thier first of many wins of the season. Buddy did some fishing on Saturday and Bo and I stolled and played outside most of the day.

Game Time

Our good friends Ladon and Jimmy came over to visit for a bit and we had our first fire of the season. This morning we slept in until 7:30 for most people that is equivalent to like noon. We walked down and got some breakfast and then continued on our walk to get a few groceries for today.

Fall time is finally here

Headed home from grocery store

We are celebrating the Labor Day as most will with some BBQ, potato salad and baked beans. Whoever came up with these traditions for summer holidays, THANK YOU! I wouldn't trade these kind of weekends for anything. I am so thankful for our little family, great friends and them memories that come from both.

We spotted another Bo tooth this weekend and so that explains some of the fussiness well more like neediness that last couple of days. He is starting to do some spinning and scooting as a way to get where he wants to be. It seems like he might have just went through a growth spurt in the past week. His clothes that he has been wearing all summer are suddenly a litte snug on his baby belly.

We hope everyone has a wonderful Labor Day.
